escaping "philosophy" as it is constituted and taught, by reading through it till beyond it, is perhaps the only hope of finding some wisdom and insight. otherwise one remains trapped in interconnected intellectual mazes -- with virtually no exits, (mis)named eg Kant, Leibnitz, Descartes
