"AVL TAXI"? UNRELIABLE!!!

So-called "AVL TAXI" (with website https://www.avltaxi.com) is NOT RELIABLE!!!

I booked a ride the day before, a pick-up at 5am to the Asheville airport. All was agreed, price estimate included.
At 4:55, ready, I was looking for the taxi to appear, I called the "dispatcher". No answer.
Needing be at the nearby airport at about 5:30 am, at 4:57am I called the number again. A woman answered.
"I am just calling about my 5:00am pickup, the taxi needs to drive to the end of the road..."
"Ohhh... well the driver is deep asleep."
"What? What did you say? Did you say the driver was 'deep asleep'?"
Incredulous...I "exploded":
"The driver is asleep???!!! I am going to the airport! This is completely unacceptable? I am going to write  s u c h  a complaint..."
"I will send another driver."
"...COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!...
"I will send another driv..."

I suppose "the driver" was the "dispatcher's" boyfriend, who was "deep asleep".
Sleep whenever you want, but send some driver, on time, as agreed!

So, if you need a reliable ride to the airport, don't consider AVL TAXI!

finally, in some frustration -- having pursued four decades the greater story of this deepest human "theme",...back to Er, to Zarathustra's daena, et al -- he raised his hand to comment:

~ 'this discussion of "conscience" has been flat... too limited in time... conscience is one of the deepest human themes, but conscience is not a fact, it is not a social solution, it is a test...'
